I am so ready for warmer weather and for the wind to stop blowing.
I have been quite the slacker lately esp the last couple of days and have done absolutely nothing
Dad is super busy with the calling and scouts and taking care of his silly wife and a hundred other things that he does to fill time
I was thinking back over some more pleasant memories and instantly remember Hawaii
ok I have tried three times to post pictures and I cannot get it done
will have to wait till wesley or crystal return home to walk me through it

I am just sick---I recently cut down the giant jungle plant in the entry and before I did it I took pictures of it and now they are lost= I am not sure what happened to them but they are gone and now so is the plant---well not all of it just most of it I am hoping that it will grow bigger than the last time---it really is looking quite sad and I am worried that we over stimulated the root system I hope that it makes it-

`Life here in the homeplace is as usual--quiet and rather boring---but I like it like that---Wesley is applying for a full time job at the DAG (/dept of Agriculture) it is full time and he would be able to have benifits and get his teeth fixed and have health care--that would be nice. His car is unfortunately dead!!! The engine needs to be replaced and he is looking for one online so that Bishop Kite can help him replace it. When it rains it pours and he is feeling this truth.
Dad is still working hard and fortunately he still has work. We are looking at going to Germany in April but not until after the dreded TAX Day!!! I am going to try to find the pictures but am not hopeful--

Another awesome cousin outing

This rough looking group was absolutely to much fun for grandma at the dino museum. The cousins all met at the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving point and we saw so many awesome things--this being one of them.
I want you to look closley and see if you can guess who is who---
From left to right
Joseph-bored with all the pictures we took of him
Zach- being the typical older brother doing bunny ears on his brother Evan
Colby- being his usual good boy self
Evan- the perpetual jester
Natalie- annoyed because we stopped her for more than 5 min(she has so much energy--but a real cutie)
and last but certainly not least is Carson--Now look at this boy---he is sporting the Hulk stance and as always the ever present ear to ear grin. Grandma had so much fun!!!! Cause the parents let me have free rein YAyayayaaaaaa!!!!!

me. We all had a grand time going to the parade then a picnic with Grandpa grilliThe traditional 4th of July celebration in Idaho had a new twist this year. As we were leaving the petting zoo the animal handlers brought out a snake. Needless to say the three boys bolted over and had to pet the creature. They were all so careful and loved the feel. I however stood a safe distance away. So you ask how did I get this snap shot? Trina was close by and she shared this withng hamburgers and hot dogs. Then it was off to the rides, cotton candy and snow cones. Watching Natalie on the rides was a hoot. But more fun than that---I convinced Trina to do the octupus with me
Ohooooo! wow! We were spinning out of control and screaming to high heaven--I was having fun but Trina was ---well not as excited as I was....hahaha!!!!! Maybe we could convince her to do another ride...the merry go round?

Wild Flowers

These are wild flowers from the upper valley. Val was on his way home and saw a huge field of these yellow sunny flowers. He said that he just had to pull his truck over to the side of the road and began to pick a large bouquet. When he came home it was the typical ' little boy' look with his hand behind his back, and announced, " I saw these on the side of the road and had to pick you some because they reminded me of you." Now my heart just melted and I have told everyone who would listen how sweet my husband is.

Mothers Day Flowers

These tulips were so beautiful!!! I wanted to capture their color and the warm fuzzy feeling I hve when I look at them. Melinda and Her family sent them to me from Germany. In the background you can see the yellow roses that Val gave me for Mothers day--He is just the sweetest man ever. I also was suprized with a lovely orchid to wear to church. It lasted for the rest of the month, I wore it every week until June.
The next picture of flowers have special meaning as well and the story will appear next to it.
